I am so grateful to have experienced this women’s pilgrimage from the Sacred Valley down to Bolivia on the island of the sun and island of the moon on Lake Titicaca.
13 women traveling with 2 indigenous grandmothers sharing wisdom and practices for the healing of the divine feminine energy… the clearing of our wombs, to make space for love, no more room for fear or doubt. I learned so much from these sisters and the wise words sung and spoken, about the power we hold as healers and creators/holders of life. The dancing, the joy, tears and freedom we all shared together was more than the word “healing” could entail.
This is the strongest teaching I learned from the 13 days spent with them:
When we sit at the circle, when we share and see each other as divine, sometimes broken, beautiful beings, we heal. There is such great power in the ancient practice of ceremony, offerings, and gratitude towards everything this life has to offer. It brings us back to our truth, to our sisterhood and community. We need each other more than anything else. We are all teachers and students ready and eager to learn about all we have forgotten! I remembered a whole lot during this time… and was honored to document the beauty of each and every woman.
